Nashville holds such a special place in our hearts, so choosing it for our four-year wedding anniversary celebration was a no-brainer! Let me share all the amazing details of our unforgettable trip.

Where We Stayed The Hutton Hotel
We checked into the Hutton Hotel, and oh my goodness, it’s seriously one of our favorite hotels ever! The bathroom situation here is absolutely incredible! We’re talking the most amazing shower and bathroom products we’ve ever experienced anywhere. Here’s a money-saving tip we discovered: instead of paying those hefty valet parking fees at the hotel, we found this super convenient overnight parking lot right across the street that was so much cheaper!

Day One Belle Meade Adventures
Our first evening kicked off with an amazing dinner at J. Alexander’s Restaurant before heading back to our cozy hotel room. Sometimes the simple evenings are just perfect, you know?

Exploring the Music City
The next day was packed with all things Nashville! We started with coffee and lunch at Pinewood Social (excellent, by the way!) before heading to explore 12 South. Now, I have to say, while 12 South has gotten pretty touristy over the years, it’s still such a great spot to check out! We had so much fun taking photos in front of those iconic murals.

Cheekwood Gardens Magic
Then came Cheekwood Gardens! Oh, our beloved spot! They had this absolutely adorable Lego exhibit that was just too cute and cool. We absolutely love how Cheekwood always has these rotating exhibits that keep things fresh and exciting!

Our Most Memorable Dinner
Oh my goodness, let me tell you about Bourbon Steak Nashville! This dinner was seriously EVERYTHING! Getting reservations here is pretty challenging (definitely plan ahead!), but we got super lucky and snagged a last-minute opening. Since it was our anniversary, we made sure to mention it, and wow, did they make it special!
Picture this: we’re sitting by the window on the 34th floor of the J.W. Marriott, watching the most beautiful sunset over Nashville. When we arrived, there was this sweet anniversary card signed by the entire staff (how thoughtful is that?!) and they even gifted us an anniversary cake! The service was absolutely over the top in the best way possible. They even pushed in my chair when I sat down!
The food? INCREDIBLE! We had these amazing eight-ounce Black Angus Bourbon Steak special filets, the most delicious brussel sprouts, and this black truffle mac and cheese that was to die for! Don’t even get me started on the s’mores dessert…it came in this smoke-infused dome that made it taste like a fancy campfire! And those duck fat fries as an appetizer? So yum!

More Nashville Food Adventures
The next few days were filled with more amazing food experiences. Biscuit Love for breakfast (a must-try!), exploring the Factory at Franklin with refreshing cold-pressed juice, then we caught a glimpse of Leiper’s Fork (definitely want to go back and explore this place more), and lunch at the Grilled Cheeserie in downtown Franklin. We also checked out Fifth + Broadway and treated ourselves to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory.

Sweet Nash Endings
Our final day started with the most precious experience at the Loveless Cafe. Our waitress was an absolute sweetheart with the most adorable Southern accent, and they treated us just like family! They even surprised us with a free slice of coconut cream pie for our anniversary! It was so thoughtful!
We wrapped up our trip with some shopping at Uncommon James, got our rings cleaned at Genesis Diamonds (where we bought our wedding bands!), had dinner at North Italia, and grabbed a latte and coffee milkshake from Golly G’s Coffee, Ice Cream, & Sweets for the drive home.
This trip was seriously everything we could have wanted for our four-year anniversary celebration. Nashville, you never disappoint! There’s just something so special about celebrating in a city that means so much to us. We absolutely love it here and can’t wait to come back!
