A Fall Day Trip to Nashville: Content Creation & City Exploration

I had the incredible opportunity to beta test a new app called Newzip – an online community marketplace for neighborhood advice and recommendations in Nashville. While the app didn’t ultimately take off, the experience of working with such amazing people was truly unforgettable. Through Newzip, I got to dive deep into Nashville’s local scene, connecting with residents and even becoming a tour guide (despite not being a local – though honestly, I might as well be at this point!).

The Pharmacy Burger Parlor & Beer Garden

On a beautiful October day, we headed to Nashville with our cameras ready to capture content. Our first stop was The Pharmacy Burger Parlor & Beer Garden, and let me tell you – that patio is something special. The outdoor seating area provided the perfect setting for capturing those mouth-watering food shots, and the atmosphere was just what we needed to kick off our day.

Pumpkin Spice Quest

After lunch, we embarked on what I like to call our “great pumpkin spice hunt” with quick stops at both Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods. Can we talk about Trader Joe’s pumpkin spice coffee for a minute? It’s absolutely unmatched! After comparing both stores’ offerings, TJ’s definitely took the crown for the best pumpkin spice flavor – trust me on this one.

RH Nashville and The Mall at Green Hills

The stunning RH Nashville was next on our list, and wow – what a backdrop for content creation! The luxe interiors made every shot Instagram-worthy. We followed this up with some time at The Mall at Green Hills, which always delivers when it comes to both shopping and aesthetic appeal.

Cheekwood Harvest Botanical Garden

The Cheekwood Harvest was absolutely breathtaking. Fall is truly Cheekwood’s time to shine, and we made sure to capture every gorgeous autumn detail. If you’re planning a trip to Nashville in fall, this needs to be on your must-visit list!

Coffee & Pizza Perfect Ending

As the day wound down, we couldn’t resist stopping at 8th and Roast for iced coffee. I have to say, it’s easily in my top 3 Nashville coffee spots – the quality and taste are just unbeatable. We wrapped up our content-filled day at Five Points Pizza, which was the perfect way to end our Nashville adventure.

Creating content while exploring Nashville is basically my idea of a perfect day. While Newzip may have been short-lived, it gave me an even deeper appreciation for this incredible city. There’s something special about experiencing Nashville through both a creator’s lens and as someone who just genuinely loves this city.

This day reminded me why I keep coming back to Nashville – there’s always something new to discover, even when you’re visiting familiar favorites. Whether you’re creating content or just exploring, this city never disappoints!
